Do I need GoHighLevel?
Yes. Your Wingman works inside your GoHighLevel account: your contacts, conversations, calendars and pipelines stay right where they are. We connect it during onboarding.
Will it text my old contacts?
No. It only picks up leads that arrive after you switch it on. If you want it to work a past contact, you turn it on for that person by hand.
Can I check everything before it sends?
Yes, and that is how every Wingman starts. In review mode each draft waits in Approvals until a teammate approves it. Switch autopilot on when you are ready, and back off any time.
What happens if I text a lead myself?
Your Wingman steps back from that conversation. It stays paused for that person until someone on your team hands it back.
What if a customer asks it to stop?
It stops. STOP and plain requests like “please stop texting me” end automated texts to that person, and Do Not Disturb in GoHighLevel is always honored.
Does it make phone calls?
No. Your Wingman works by text. Calls stay with your team.
How long does onboarding take?
It depends mostly on how much there is to write down about your business. Your Wingman does not text a single customer until you have tested it and said go.
Can I change its name or voice later?
Any time. Its name, photo, voice and Knowledge live in Settings, and changes apply to the next text it writes.
Is my customers’ information used for anyone else?
No. Your data is used only to run your Wingman. We do not sell it, and one business’s information is never used for another.
